We are having another Care Packaging Event on Sunday, May 16 from 1-? pm in the banquet room at the Spread Eagle Club in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin. Previous packing events were a HUGE success thanks to everyone’s support. The more people who come to help, the quicker we will finish! Please bring an item or two to include in the care packages (see our list of items needed on the “Needed” link on our home page) and of course, donations are always appreciated for shipping (flat rate boxes are up to $12.50 each now). There will be refreshments and a card signing/making table for the kids. We have found that the Soldiers REALLY LOVE getting cards from kids back home, I get thank you’s for them all the time. So please if you have some time that afternoon, stop by for as long as you can – and help us SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!!
Thank you all and God Bless!

We are so grateful to our community for their generous support of our Troops, it means everything to them to receive something from back home.
Also we want to thank the folks at Super One as well as Radio Station 94.3 for their kindness and generosity in making this event happen. Everyone has been amazing and we are very thankful to all of you.
Our local grocery store – Super One Foods in Iron Mountain MI – will host a live radio feed

The public is encouraged to bring items for the care packages

and of course donations are most welcome towards the $10.95 cost for shipping each box.

You are contributing to the smiles of many Troops so far from home this Holiday Season. God Bless you all.
The L. Cpl Eric A. Palmisano Care Package Project display at Cuisine Art on Thursday night was a huge success! We have many signed Christmas cards to send to the Troops thanks to our very supportive community. Thank you to everyone who took the time to sign a card or two and give a donation for our Care Package Project!
The Care Packaging event was a HUGE success. It was scheduled from 6-9 pm and by 6:30 p.m. we had run completely out of everything, there were NO items left to pack! People were lined up in the hall waiting to get in the room, everyone brought lots of items and they were all quickly packed up. We estimate about 100 people came – and we have over 80 boxes packed up and ready to ship. We collected just over $300, which will certainly help with the shipping cost of $11 per box. Next year (if needed) we will hold our event in a larger facility to accommodate everyone.
